This book is an excellent resource for anyone who is interested in finding out what makes Aikido so multi-dimensional, or one who would like to understand its ancient roots. The goal of this book is to give the reader a clear understanding of the essence of Aikido, and to explain the aspirations and motivations of the true practitioners of Aikido. It doesn't discuss movements or wazas in any detail, but rather tries to impart the fundamental nature of Aikido: the harmony of mankind and the universe.
